Just Relax!
Of course not everything at Limpopo-Lipadi has to be wildlife related and the peaceful isolation of our reserve provides the perfect setting to just sit (or lie!) back and relax, to rid yourself of the constant hustle and bustle of the city and let your body take on the slower pace of the bush. With beautiful weather most of the year there is always the option to soak up the warming rays of the Botswana sunshine, whether in the surrounds of your private lodge unit or on one of the comfortable loungers arranged by the pool at the central facility.

The central facility also boasts a huge dining table, fully equipped kitchen and several braais - perfect for getting together with friends and family to share a meal while the Limpopo River rushes over the weir beside you. The quiet seating area overlooks a pool on the river and provides a secluded spot to birdwatch or read during the day.
Sundowners

Of course no trip to the African bush would be complete without a regular sundowners opportunity! Ending the day with a stunning wilderness view extending to the sunset, a cold drink and the company of friends is hard to beat. Whether you choose to clamber up the western end of Lipadi Hill to sit on sun-baked, thousands-of-years-old rocks and watch tiny elephant shrews scampering through the crevices while the sun disappears into the distant horizon, or perhaps walk down the river to Harry's Camp or the Hippo Pools, you'll be sure of a fitting end to any day. The Northern Plains provide another choice, ideal for watching herds of antelope and wildebeeste grazing while the bush turns golden in front of you. In fact there are endless possibilities and the freedom offered to shareholders means you can enjoy this typically African moment however you choose.
