River Camp Unit 4 - Mmathapi

Lodge Name: Mmathapi, which means pied kingfisher in Setswana

Bedroom 1: Queen-size bed, pull-out couch for children, separate toilet and bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower

Bedroom 2: King-size bed, pull-out couch for children, separate toilet and bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, bath

Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults and 4 children under 12

Description: Lodge 4 has an interesting setting just north of the Central Facility (and although it shares an access road it is set a reasonable distance apart). Bedroom one overlooks a deep, dry stream bed that runs down to the river and is often used by wildlife coming down to drink and the local pod of hippos at night. There are shaded deck areas and the boma has fantastic views up and down the Limpopo.
