Reserve Details

Limpopo-Lipadi Game and Wilderness Reserve is located in the Tuli Block of south-eastern Botswana. We are situated literally on the banks of a 21km stretch of the legendary Limpopo River running along the border with South Africa. The reserve covers a vast expanse of bush totalling over 32,000 hectares that includes a variety of ecosystems and range of scenery. The Zanzibar border post is only a minute or so drive away from the reserve's west gate presenting the ideal option for road access.

Our remote bush location and extremely low density development brings a peace and isolation rivalled by few other places. Of course this also means that there isn't a domestic airport on the doorstep (not that you'd want the constant intrusion of jets passing low overhead bringing a steady stream of new guests anyway!). There is a range of options for getting to the reserve including self-drive, private transfer services, and light aircraft charters to local airstrips. Travel directions can be found here.
